During the late summer of 2008, i collaborated with Steve Banks, Bill Campbell, and Terry Rathje on a quickly put together project called "Mechanical Advantage." The group show ran at the Bucktown Arts Raw Space in Davenport, Iowa, and featured a bunch of ridiculous nonsense machines that made noises (music?) and messes. The following images are from my piece called "The Dutch." You may also want to click on the youtube link below for a video of the piece in action.

In the spring of 2006, I decided to begin a project space on this site in order to document a new idea for a series of works. Though this first featured project will involve a variety of styles, all share a common bond – each is tied to one particular song from the O Brother, Where Art Thou film soundtrack. This is a long-term ongoing idea, so check back periodically to watch progress.
